I'm glad the love for these still carry on. I had a whole bunch of them-back when they were 10 year old cars ready to get thrown out. Unfortunatly they were all rotting away pretty bad back then-and are all gone on the east coast now. The survivors out west are now going for big bucks-if modded or stock. Theres been a buch over on bringatrailer.com lately-bringing back many good memories....

Been my autox/trackday/fun car of choice for the last year or so. They pop up pretty frequently here between Vegas/SoCal/AZ. Starting at about 3k for not working examples up to about $15k for fully restored. Almost pulled the triger on a green rolling chasis wagon but didn't have the space for it :-(

Add SR20DET, some supporting mods, weld the cage in.
Go rally.

That's my plan. Soon.

I hear ya. I'm just crossing my fingers these things are extinct by the time I have the funds and space to do a ground-up project like I would want to do. These cars were around between my father's and my generation. But I have serious love for classic sports cars/coupes from nissan/datsun, BMW, and the like. Something about the honesty of their shape gets me. Its this perfect "I'm just a car" look that screams for you to make it exactly what you want it to be beyond that.

The wagon would be fantastic. Yeah, there was a four door I would have probably pulled on had I known it was for sale, here in Texas. All well... some day.

I think the wagons have leaf springs in the back though? Having never fully delved into research I'm unsure but I feel like I read that somewhere

They do sound nice at the track. The Glen has long been a great place to hunt 510's. My casual pics.

Yes-the wagons had a regular solid axle + rear leafs.

Fun fact: the center section of the sedan's IRS is the same as (the rear ) a Subaru!

Wow! That leaves a lot of possibilities for aftermarket parts! Especially because subaru hasn't changed any of their parts in decades...

I'm a sucker for white race cars. That second to last one is glorious. that and the one with ITB's
